Port availability testing |
NEW MyConnection Server v9 Just Released! New Features MCS MyFirewall tests remote systems to verify application ports are available for your application. MCS MyFirewall is an optional component of the MyConnection Server (MCS) network performance management application. One of the most common problems that end-users experience is the inability to connect to a web application due to a firewall or security policies that block access to the needed ports. MyFirewall enables quick and easy testing of port availability for TCP and UDP ports, providing a quick means to test client's ability to connect with critical applications such as VoIP call, video conferencing, email, web and CITRIX access. Port tests can be performed on-demand via a support web portal, or via remote agents that automate the process and minimize customer involvement. |

Resolve support calls faster with quick port testingPort availability testing can be easily incorporated in a support call process to see if remote clients can communicate out on ports. Port tests can be set for HTTP/HTTPs web access, POP3 email, FTP and other essential IP services. Multiple tests can can be combined as needed. Test VoIP port availabilityTest end-user systems for the abiltiy to communicate out on a single UDP port or range of ports for VoIP calls. Set up a VoIP port test as part of a pre-qualification process for new subscribers, or as part of a 'self-help' support portal for customers to troubleshoot connection problems. Ensure client ability to access CITRIX applicationsSet up MyFirewall tests for specific TCP ports for CITRIX to check client ability to communicate out on ports needed for video conferencing and web applications. Provide a 'self-help' connection testing portal for your end-users
Enable browser-based testing for your customers to measure connectivity to your server on-demand. Connection test results are automatically logged to the MCS database for review by support groups.
